CastleDB is an open source database that includes a built in level editor. It's created in Haxe but the ultimate result is JSON usable in any game engine or with whatever programming language.

This video reviews the functionality available in CastleDB, and shows the ability to create data and use it in Haxe. Then we look at creating a level using the built in editor.
