SimHub is an excellent software that can be used with many types of devices that are compatible with Arduino and I was using it with a TM1638 7 segment display. Thought I try out the Nextion touch TFT LCD. When it arrived I was a bit lost. The documentation is a bit vague. I thought it had to be connected via an Arduino but that is not the case. Instead a USB to TTL serial adapter is required. I also had issues getting the LCD to work, eg. how do I get the templates into the Nextion and then also realised I had to convert the supplied template file which was for a different size Nextion to what I have. So, I've created this video. If it is of help to someone, then great.
