Using the Action Replay CDX on House of the Dead 2 (Zombie Cheating Special) on the Dreamcast

An example of how the Action Replay CDX works but before that some handy features of this cheat disc:

1: You can use this cheat disc to play imported games.
2: In order for this cheat disc to work you will need the Action Replay CDX memory card otherwise this cheat device will not function

Getting back to adding cheats to this cheat disc I basically went to these great websites below:

I found a cheat I liked by searching my game title and the Dreamcast platform, thankfully it was already on the cheat disc but if it was not I find a cheat code I liked on the website which is normally a combination of two rows of 8 numbers or letters.

After finding the cheat code I would go to the main menu on the Action Replay CDX then Select Sel Codes Bidouille by pressing the a button to take you to the game list menu. At this point find the word Nouveau jeu at the top and press a again to add a new game then a again on the words Editionner Nom.

Then I would enter a game title, for example, House of the Dead 2 using the a button then press the b button when finished, then I would press a on the word Quit et Sauv to save the game and you will be taken to the game list menu.

I would then press a to enter the game name I have just created in the games list which would mean scrolling down to H for House of the Dead 2. I would then press a on the word Nouveau code. Then a on the words Descript. cde nveau to create a cheat code title.

At this point, I would press the a button to type a cheat name then b to get back to entering cheat code rows of code. I would then press down to enter either one or two rows of 8 digits worth of numbers and letters using the a button then press b once finished.

If more rows are needed just press down a then b when finished then at this point press the right button then use the a button on the word quit et Sauv to save the new cheat code.

I would then press a to highlight this new cheat code, press start, then press a on the word demarrer jeu avec codes sel. Then change the discs and use the a button to press Ok to start the game with the cheat code I have entered.

Hopefully, after viewing this cheat disc in action it will convince you it's worth buying :D
