
Using Two or More Routers to Share the Same Network

Procedure:
1. Connect the RJ-45 network cable from your 1st or main router to the lan port of router 2, router 3,.... , router x. I recommend using a network switch to connect your routers.
2. Go into your router via with the default IP address, and change the DHCP settings. For router 2, router 3, router 4, router x use a computer to connect with a ethernet cable to the router you want to configure.
3. Change the DHCP settings for each router by disabling DHCP, setting the DHCP to automatic configuration, and assigning a IP address to each router 2.....router x. For example, 192.168.1.101 for router 1, 192.168.1.102 for router 2, 192.168.1.10X for router x.
4. Set the maximum number of users for router 2 to router x. Users must not be greater than 255. I recommend 50 if you are using one router, and 20 to 30 if you are using 3 to 5 routers.
