There are 2 options from aver media the live gamer portable that allows you to capture without a pc which or to get the LGP Lite which you have to use a pc or laptop to capture but is 40 dollars cheaper

Finally if you are not going to root your device and you have tried without it you will need a splitter this is the tricky par is they could not work also i cannot find one that looks exactly like mine. if you notice the lik folowing has a picture of one that looks similar to mine but you see that is has white outline boxes on it and mine does not it says it is 1.3 but not that it is 1.3b so just be looking for one that has 1.3b hdmi. so the linked one might work or might not. it says it does have 1.3b but people are saying this new version with the white outline does not strip it.
