2This is the second match in a BO3 finals from the Gina Invitational 3 by PurePressure, Sponsored by SteelSeries, held in June of 2007. Game: Unreal Tournament 2004
This was the second match in our BO3, I won the first on Roughinery. Solitude was a new map, with a look like Ironic and a small size, it favoured close range play styles. LegioN was my #1 feared opponent at the time because of his Flak cannon, it was incredibly accurate and he seemed to be able to find a way to close the gap and hit me with it's full force. The one area that always confused me with LegioN was his mental focus. He seemed to either dominate or give up, there was no steady pace for him. If he was ahead, he was scary. But if he was behind, he didn't even try. After playing Roughinery (which is a long range map) and having a close match, I wasn't feeling very confident about Solitude. The game was keeping very close but I think his focus broke near the end as he threw me a bunch of kills. I was happy to have beat him in the finals of the Gina Invitational 3, as many notable players entered and I felt LegioN was the best of them.
