Back in the mid-2000s, Ubisoft certainly appreciated it. Starting with The Settlers 5, the once-cult German brand first began to alienate with wild new concepts and then fade into insignificance, which at least allowed Funatics, a small German studio of former Blue Byte employees, to continue the concept of The Settlers 1 and 2 with two successful sequels.
But today we're not going to talk about The Settlers at all, but rather about the sequel from Funatics itself, which, despite owning the trademark rights, continues the series, something many of you are probably hearing about for the first time and have therefore never played.
