This video explains how to validate closing and posting entries in POS on odoo 13. The Odoo POS is a customer-oriented system, so you can maintain your customer relations and can give loyalty programs or any such offers to express your gratitude towards them.

All transactions are integrated directly into Odoo accounting so that ledger management is easy and reliable and can easily generate the invoices and take a print out of the same in a single mouse click. An Odoo POS helps one can effectively track the cash flow happening within the sales counter during a session/shift.

Once a product is purchased or billed in a POS session you need to validate it before closing the session. You should post the entries in Journal items before closing the session. In Odoo POS while you closing the session a button is there named ‘VALIDATE CLOSING & POSTING ENTRIES’ for this function. You need to click this button before closing the session & automatically post the entries into the journal.
