Valkryie Profile 2: Silmeria -- Part Breaker Set up Demonstration
1This video is a demonstration of how you can set up your party to break off a lot of parts more easily and perhaps even kill off an enemy fairly quickly.
What this party set up can be used for is to break off enemy parts in order to get items such as the various accesories that you need to make skills without going through as much trouble hoping to break off body parts.
The basic set up for this video:
1) Have at least 1 Archer with the Gale Bow (which always gives critical hits).
2) Get the Dismantle ability (This ability gives the ability to break off body parts upon a critical hit to an enemy).
3) Set up the attacks so that there will be multiple hits per bow attack.
Explanation behind the set up:
Combining a weapon which always gives critical attacks with the Dismantle ability will allow the character to break off several body parts at one time. This can be lethal to many enemies too.
Optional additions to the set up:
Triple Edge Ability (3 times the attacks)
Break Up Ability (Allows the player to enter Break Mode easier with parts broken off)
About the demonstration here:
In this video Lenneth and Dylan were attacking the monsters with in a "normal" set up. As the viewer can see, they weren't doing much damage after all the attacks used. When the 2 archers of Rufus and Arcana attacked with the "Part Breaker" set up, they were able to dismember a lot of body parts from the bats in short time, even killing them. The characters are thrown into an enemy danger zone to show that they can be killed off rather quickly in the area with the high damage by the monsters if the characters are improperly geared defensively or are underleveled.
Light Warriors such as Lenneth can also use an Ascalon sword which has the same properties as the archer Gale Bow.
Final Note:
Some monsters still seem to resist parts being broken off. Perhaps it's an issue of resistance against part breaking due to how difficult a monster should be.
