4Investigate the bottom of Gallo Tower Unlock Leda
To unlock Leda in Vampire Survivors, you must first defeat him on Gallo Tower. Leda can be found exclusively on the Gallo Tower stage which is unlocked by reaching Level 60 in the previous stage, Dairy Plant.
When Leda is nearby, the playerβs screen will darken, leaving a majority of the screen black with a small radius of light around the character. Runes will change to IAMALIVEHERE. To unlock Leda start a run on the Gallo Tower stage then travel southward and defeat Leda. There are no waves or events prior to fighting Leda, and she spawns naturally once you get there.

Leda is both a hidden boss and one of the secret playable characters in Vampire Survivors. Her starting weapon is Holy Wand.
Unlocking
"Investigate the bottom of Gallo Tower."
After unlocking, Leda can be purchased for Sprite-Gold Coin.png 666, which scales with other characters purchased.
Alternatively, Leda can be unlocked in the Forbidden Scrolls of Morbane by casting the Spell "iwillneverletyouforgetaboutme".
Passive bonuses
Leda starts with +5 Armor, -20% Movement Speed, +100% Might, +10% Area, -10% Cooldown and -80% Greed.

Leda can have Magic Wand and Holy Wand in the same run. However, even with an Empty Tome and fully-leveled Magic Wand, the Magic Wand will never be evolved by a Treasure Chest.

Leda is the second character to be unlocked by defeating her. The first is Mask of the Red Death and the third is Gyorunton.
Prior to version 0.10, Leda's and Gains Boros' sprites were mirrored and her horizontal movement was reversed to account for that. Vento Sacro and its evolution Fuwalafuwaloo would slash to the back instead of the front.
Leda may be inspired by Legion, a boss from many Castlevania games whom is attached to a cocoon with a similar appearance.
Leda may also be a reference to Sorceress Adel from Final Fantasy VIII, both having red hair trapped in a large cocoon-like prison. The sine wave letters that spell "IAMALIVEHERE" are a reference to Adel's line, and Leda is Adel spelled backwards.
"Leda" may also be a corruption of the word "Leader", as the Abyss Foscari contains a type of enemy that closely resembles Leda called a "Followa".
The description of the Followa in Abyss Foscari implies that she was once "a great scholar who abandoned her tower and disappeared without a trace".
Leda is one of two Secret Characters in Vampire Survivors that starts as a stage boss and when defeated, joins your roster of playable characters. Leda can be found exclusively on the Gallo Tower stage which is unlocked by reaching Level 60 in the previous stage, Dairy Plant.

How to Unlock Leda
To unlock Leda start a run on the Gallo Tower stage then travel southward and defeat Leda. Leda can be found in the Gallo Tower by traveling to the south for a very, very extended period of time. If your screen begins to dim you're getting closer and if your screen remains normal you likely have quite a ways to go.
The closer you get to Leda's spawn location the darker and darker the stage will become until your visibility is reduced to what is essentially a spotlight. Though Leda has an enormous health pool, they're not an offensive threat and the biggest mistake you can make when trying to unlock Leda is obliviously walking past the meatball-like Character. Leda's MoveSpeed is so slow that, if you don't remain vigilant and sprint past them, they'll be too slow to catch up to you.
This is especially true if you use Red Death to try and reach Leda. Red Death's insane MoveSpeed can help you reach Leda incredibly quickly but their speed can also quickly leave Leda in the dust so keep your eyes peeled. Conversely, avoid using slow Characters such as Dommario and Exdash as it's possible they never reach Leda's spawn point at all.
As mentioned, Leda isn't an offensive threat so when battling with this boss you should be safe as long as you don't fall victim to traps and take excessive damage from the enemies emerging from the darkness.
