Vampyr Lives Again! | Performance Patch Overview/Impressions (PS5)

Just last week, Vampyr received a performance patch for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4 Pro, and Xbox One X. This is just an overview of the patch, and some of my impressions on it. I played for a little over two hours with the patch, and I figured it was another good way to spread the good word of Vampyr. The performance patch for Vampyr ups the resolution, and the framerate for the game. So, if you’re playing on PS5 or Xbox Series X, you’re going to enjoy 1440p resolution up to 60FPS.
Even if you’re playing on older hardware, like a PS4 Pro, Xbox One X, or even a Series S, the resolution bump alone is enough to try it out! Whether you’re playing it for the first time, going back after a hiatus, replaying it, or just going after achievements and trophies, the time has never been better to play Vampyr. It isn’t going to get a lot of mainstream attention for it’s brilliant combat and visuals, but it is, at the very least, an atmospheric and wonderfully directed game with plenty to love.
