Welding up a bed frame out of stainless steel. By a 100 % novice welder who doesn't have access to a straight table.

Filmed 2016-08-07 through 2016-08-08.

In most van camper conversions, people can afford to have beds that stretch the width of the van. My van is 1,6 metres wide around the outside, so there's no way that would work. Thus, the bed has to stretch the length of the vehicle, and I have to figure out some way to make use of the space.

In hindsight, I probably should have built the bed a bit taller, sacrificing some sitting comfort for storage space. But oh well. If Thunderf00t can live in a sedan, I can bloody well live in a van with slightly underutilised space.
