VARTH 2-PLAYER (ARCADE / PS2 - FULL GAME)
15Zeus presents Varth - Operation Thunderstorm for the Arcade played on my PS2, a true classic from the golden era of arcade gaming which must not be forgotten alongside the software house and all programmers that were involved in making this game.
Year of release: 1990
From the guys that brought you the 194x shooter series, capcom comes out with this beauty. 30 stages to get through, stunning fire power effects along with beautiful looking enemies and big bosses make this a real blast especially in 2 player mode, grab a beer with a mate, sit on the sofa and blast away...brilliant!!!
The only drawback is that sometimes there is so much going on the screen slows down dramaticly but this is also the case with the actual arcade machine.
Check out Ryu from Street Fighter at 7:05, he pulls of a dragon punch and the more you hit him the more points!!!
As this is from a PS2 compilation, i cannot be for sure how accurate this is, only hard core Mercs arcade fans will know for sure if there are any differences.
