Doom 2016 and Fallout may take place in the same universe. Well no, actually, but this easter egg in Doom sure could spawn thousands of fan theories! I wonder if something similar will pop up in Starfield?

2016’s Doom, developed by ID Software and published by Bethesda, follows the series tradition of hidden secrets but this time with a Bethesda flavoured Twist.

During the prologue of the game, there’s an easter egg to be found that references one of Bethesda’s most popular franchises. You will have to start a new game to see this, as replaying the mission through the Mission Select will dump you out after the easter egg.

So the easter egg is found in the very first arena in the game, it’s found on the exit door and can be seen at any time, but unless you want to get stabbed in the back I’d recommend clearing the room of it’s demon infestation before taking a look.

On the bottom left corner of the door, previously hidden by a Maxom logo is the logo for Vault-Tec. Most of you are probably aware that Vault-Tec is a pretty big deal in the Fallout series, and are most well known for their construction of the Fallout Shelters, or Vaults that appear in the games. Funnily enough the most iconic aspect of these vaults is the door, so ID software adding this logo to the door in doom is the perfect place for it.
