Vega 8 Uses DDR4 Memory | Will Vega 20 Use GDDR5 or GDDR6 ?
Will we see the next generation vega (the die shrink vega, known as Vega 20, which is rumored to use 12nm) have some products launch on GDDR5, GDDR5X or even GDDR6?
Well, Vega 8 is at least using DDR4 - so it shows that Vega can at least in theory support other types of memory other than HBM2.
Also AMD epyc has beat the benchmarks yet again, a fact AMD are only happy to share with the world.
