Vector Wars is a first person shooter that reminds me of Assault Rigs or games like Battlezone.

You get various weapons that are scattered around the map which have limited use with the exception of your starting weapon which has unlimited ammo.

You work to defeat a certain number of enemies on the map before the level will end and you are able to proceed.

The neon colors of the enemies and structures stand out from rest of the map making the job of spotting enemies from a distance pretty easy.

The game can and will put a lot of enemies on the screen and can overwhelm you.

Couple that with very sparse health pickups, and you end up dying a lot and you die quick.
