VelocityOne™ Wheel And Mag-Shift Paddles Overview (Explainer/Details)
22The VelocityOne Race centres around this magnificent wheel and how it brings this technical system together.
The VelocityOne Race has a quick-release feature, meaning the wheel is removable, as it’s connected wirelessly to the wheelbase and is powered by induction pads. It also has an adjustable rotation angle, going all the way up to 2600 degrees; making it one of the most versatile wheels out there.
It also features a perforated hand-stitched soft-touch fabric, for true champion quality.
Along with the standard buttons you’d expect to see on your Xbox controller, the Velocity One Race wheel also comes with our Mag-Shift paddles.
The magnetic-assisted switches provide more durable paddles and more realistic feedback, which we’ve researched and taken inspiration from real racing cars.
The first two paddles give you a nice clicky feel for a more reliable and satisfying gear change. While the bottom two analogue paddles with hall effect sensing, provide a precise clutch and handbrake control; or you can map them to something more suited to your preference.
