Vesper - Sneak Around and Manipulate Light as an Android in this Puzzle Platformer
Demo playthrough of Vesper, a puzzle platformer releasing July 30th that has you play as Seven, an android crashing on a planet and being hunted by mecha dogs and kill bots. It's a bit of an odd world where you sneak around and manipulate light, using it to open locks and possess machines along your oddysee. If you survive long enough you may be able to opt in to some robot updates to make the others less killbot-y.
Looks really good, and gameplay feels like a slightly slower-paced Abe's Oddysee (minus saving mudokons - it's not like we'll have to save robots right?). The puzzles themselves are pretty straightforward with using light to power devices or possess enemies but I'm curious to see how complicated they end up making puzzles.
Alas, this playthrough has a death sacrificing Seven to pet the robo dogs. I regret nothing.
