Viaje con mi Madre en Puerto Vallarta, Mexico (A Music Video)
29READ THIS! This past June, I had the opportunity to spend ten days in Mexico with my mom to see some sights, swim in the ocean and meet some family members on my mom's side (my mom is from Mexico). This trip served as the fulfillment of my Cross Cultural Experience for my education at Asbury University and it allowed me to practice my Spanish in a more immersive setting.
The above video is a montage of footage that I took during my time in Mexico set to the song "Somewhere Only We Know" by the band Keane. I shot this using 4 different cameras: the Panasonic SDT750, a GoPro Hero 3, a Kodak PlayFull Waterproof and the camera on my Samsung phone (which did surprisingly well for a phone). I had more underwater footage, but sadly it couldn't all fit in this one video. xd
This video is primarily a personal tribute to the time that my mom and I shared in Puerto Vallarta. Every so often in the video, you'll see a collage of pictures appear and disappear in the corners of the screen; these are snapshots of memories that my mom and I will cherish, and hopefully build onto, for the rest of our lives. So thank you for letting me share them with you. : )
