240Welcome back to Victoria 2! I'm starting a new campaign as Portugal. Naturally, this campaign will likely focus on colonization and economic development, as I will be surrounded by bigger scarier powers and wont' really be able to afford to just throw men into the meat grinder. I'll also have to choose my industry carefully, as, unlike in my previous game, I won't have dozens of states to develop.
In this episode, I begin facing dire financial stress, leading to a bit of debt, and so I seek to alleviate that by appropriating some gold from the Johorian menace.
