Video And Zoom Test In New Addington With My Panasonic SDR-H81 Camcorder 06/07/2017
1I think this model could be about 10 years old but I thought I take it out and do some filming with it at North Downs park in New Addington. I wanted to test the zoom. I think it is quite a good Camcorder to use. Zoom is good. Problem is that I did not take my tripod with me so the further I zoom out, the more shaky the image is. This camera only records in Standard Definition so the image is nothing like High Definition. The worst problem is the video files of this Camcorder. When you record in 16:9, when you play or edit it though any other software, it plays it in 4:3 aspect ratio. You have to use the software that it comes with the Camcorder. I had to use Bandicam to record the image from the Camcorder software for it to play back with any other software in 16:9. To much messing around just to play this Camcorder video properly on modern computers.
