Viewtiful Joe 2 is an electronic game and the direct sequel to Viewtiful Joe. The game was developed by Clover Studio and published by Capcom, being released on November 23, 2004 for GameCube and PlayStation 2.

Viewtiful Joe 2 is a platform, fighting and adventure game, in which the player controls the character Joe in the fictional world called "Movieworld" ("Land of Movies"). Inside Movieworld, Joe has "VFX" powers such as Slow (similar to bullet-time), Mach Speed ​​(high speed) and Zoom at his disposal to defeat his enemies. His girlfriend Silvia, who has also been given "VFX" powers, joins him. However, Silvia has the power "Replay" instead of Mach Speed, which allows her to repeat an attack in a sequence of three times, in a dramatic way. During gameplay, the player can switch between Joe and Silvia at any time, and holding the switch button makes the characters perform a small special attack. In a preview contained in the first Viewtiful Joe, Silvia and Joe were shown fighting the screen at once, giving the idea of ​​a cooperative mode. This idea has apparently been dropped, however.
