At last, the final confrontation! I'll finish this big bastard off and save the world once and for all--wait... I'm hearing they wanted to make a trilogy... Huh. Oh well!

All in all, I do still like the style of this game, but honestly, that boss rush before took it out of me. I don't know if I'd play it again on my own time.

As for Kamiya's career at this point, Wikipedia says that Team Viewtiful was formed in order to give him an opportunity to gain experience as a director. I think that was a good idea, because not only did this opportunity lead to greater things, but also, his sensibilities for game design still needed refinement.

That's my take, anyway.
