8.1 Info
• 8.1 teasers trailer came out right before the stream
• They covered what is in 8.1 regarding Legacy Seasons which I and the other partners have already covered it.
• Update 8.1 will be coming out in one week on June 30th
• XP Boosters that were in these seasons will not be coming back, obviously
• If you already have a plan in a bp then it will be replaced by a crate
• Several existing shooting range challenges got adjusted
• If you already bought a past season you will not need to buy the legacy season version
• Plans will still be coming to crates even with legacy seasons.
• Regular XP Boosters from the current season apply to regular season and the legacy season
Future Seasons
• 1st couple season will likely be done in chronological order, but likely the community will be the one to decide the order of new seasons.
• They don’t have plans to add any group shelters
Balancing
• Thinking about plans how to fix Melee and other lesser used items to make them more usable
Fixes
• PlayStation Leaderboard is fixed
Clarity About Consumables
• Nerfed not just for duper’s but to ensure vigor is being played like it was designed to be played
• Detector was designed to help locate people when you already had an idea where they were not to be used to just hunt.
Scarecrows
• It was mentioned that they are broken and the guest stated he was working on them.
• He also said they are slightly off which I think was the understatement of a century.
Community Building
• They continued the pattern of giving away crowns through guessing what season a piece of key art came from as well as answering a question in chat
• They want to do more double xp weekends.
• They kept promoting the survey that they want all players to take, if you haven’t taken it yet it is on the Devs Twitter and it will help them understand the player base better.
o And if enough people fill it out then they will give every player a cosmetic gift
