Vin Diesel Reveals the Emotional Importance of Fast X's Ending (Spoiler Alert)
Vin Diesel reveals the meaning behind the final scene of Fast X, the tenth and lastest installment of the Fast and Furious franchise. He says that the scene, which shows his character Dominic Toretto driving off into the sunset with his family, is a tribute to his late friend and co-star Paul Walker, who died in a car accident in 2013. "It was a very emotional moment for me and everyone involved," Diesel says. "We wanted to honor Paul's legacy and give closure to his character Brian O'Conner, who is still alive in the Fast universe. We also wanted to celebrate the journey we have taken together as a family for the past 20 years." Diesel adds that he is grateful for the fans who have supported the series and hopes that they will enjoy the final chapter. "Fast X is more than just a movie, it's a love letter to our fans and to Paul. I hope they feel the same way we do."
