Viscera Cleanup Detail - Fun Fact #13 It is indeed possible to delete Static Mess like Crystal Piles
The most powerful command "Set" can actually mess up this game so heavily that someone may even reset their config files after.
With that we can chance most of any actor's properties that lets us even delete the Incinerator if wanted.
You can even set the max allowed debris count to 0 so if you burn something with the welder, it no longer gives molten trash after.
With "Static Mess" internally objects named as "VCStaticMessActor" like CrystalPiles, Static Crystals, Static Biomass AND even Static Mantis/Alien EGGS (how could i forgot to add the E-G-G-S to the video) are meant.
These can all be deleted if the set command is used.
The command "Set Engine.Actor bNoDelete false" will allow you to use the "killall" console command on most actors (not working on Static Mesh.
Is is also possible to only modify the actor class itself by doing the following console command: (Hope they should work)
Set VisceraGame.VCStaticMessActor bNoDelete false
For only the crystal piles you can try this one:
Set VisceraGameContent.VCCrystalPile bNoDelete false
If the command is used on the base "Actor", it will mess up the map lighting (What also displays the "Lighting needs to be rebuild" text in Waste Disposal)
Important to know is once you use the "Set" console command is that you need to restart the game after to make Multiplayer work again.
Seems they actually added some sort of security measures to it (well but i think most of that can be brought into multiplayer with Cheat Engine) so this one is indeed interesting to know.
