This is the week 8 community event in No Man's Sky. The Visions update just dropped so the event is focused on flora on planets. There have been a ton of changes to flora and even the fauna of the planets. You can collect more things in the visions update, and there are fixes and streamlines to the game. They have also added an community element to the event. Now instead of just collecting quicksilver, you also have to contribute to the platform collection. So if you are on Xbox One, everyone has to add to the data to get to certain levels in order to unlock rewards. There are 3 tiers of data collection and there are more items to unlock.
