Vivo S15 and S15 Pro | Dimensity 8100 & OLED Screen (2022)
Vivo has a really busy schedule, with the flagship X80 series launching at the end of April and the T1 Pro smartphone in May. Now, information about the upcoming Vivo S15 and S15 Pro has surfaced, hinting at their imminent launch.
According to MySmartPrice, Vivo S15 with model number V2199A and Vivo S15 Pro with model number V2203A were recently spotted on the TENAA database. It shows that both the S15 and 15 Pro will be 5G devices. The S15 Pro will feature a 6.62-inch display, which is likely to be a high refresh rate AMOLED panel. The listing also reveals that the smartphone will pack a 4,400mAh battery, run Android 12 out of the box, and measure 161.09 x 74.31 x 7.99mm.
On the other hand, the "regular" S15 will also feature a 6.62-inch display, most likely AMOLED and with a high refresh rate. The battery on this device will be slightly larger at 4580 mAh, but along with that it will also be slightly thicker, measuring 163 x 76.16 x 8.54mm. The latest information provided by TENAA about the Vivo S15 is that the device will run Android 12 out of the box.
According to previous leaks, the Vivo S15 will have a Snapdragon 870 chipset under the hood, accompanied by 12GB of RAM. It will likely feature a 50MP main front camera that can be paired with a 12/13MP ultra wide-angle camera.
The S15 Pro will have a Dimensity 8100 chipset and is said to feature an OLED screen with curved edges. Both of these phones are expected to have other features such as an in-screen fingerprint scanner, infrared and NFC.
