Razer has expanded its lineup of laptops and, in addition to the Windows Blade, is launching a new model preloaded with Ubuntu Linux. The novelty is a modified version of last year's Razer Blade 15 Advanced, but the Razer x Lambda Tensorbook model is aimed at machine learning and AI researchers, not gamers.

The Razer x Lambda Tensorbook has almost the same specifications as the top-of-the-line Razer Blade 15 Advanced. The device is equipped with an 11th generation Intel Core i7 processor, up to 64 GB of RAM and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 Max-Q discrete graphics card.

Buyers also get a 15.6-inch 1440p 165Hz display, two Thunderbolt 4 ports, three USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A ports, a UHS-III SD card slot, Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.2. The battery capacity is 80 Wh. The laptop has a mass of 2 kg. The system comes preloaded with "the latest machine learning drivers and tools, including PyTorch, Tensorflow, CUDA, and cuDNN."

The Razer x Lambda Tensorbook is priced at $3,500.
