A few other things I forgot to add.
1. Sheva Alomar, who was introduced in the game, was a good character and one whom I enjoyed---she was hot and not an insufferable bitch (unlike Buffy). If anything, she was the only upside to the journos throwing their spurge fit about the game as it was allegedly this that led to Sheva being added.
2. It gave Wesker probably a fitting death.
3. This game finally answered some questions about Wesker's mysterious (non-Trent related) organization.
