8TL/DR:
PSN's free-to-play scene is a pay-to-win wasteland of atrocious design decisions, you shouldn't waste your money on NFS: Rivals, Killzone: Shadowfall, or the Sharpshooter Move controller peripheral, I've received a couple more gifts via Steam (thank you all again!), and I'll be featuring indie games a bit more often on the channel for a while.
"And as one last little behind-the-scenes addendum, the back-end edit cycle of this particular video was inexplicably, maddeningly difficult this time around, especially during the background capture phase.
I initially intended to use background gameplay footage of Battlefield 3 or Blacklight: Retribution, but after running afoul of rampant script-kiddie "hackers" in both games, and repeatedly I might add, and therefore having to scrap whole matches' worth of recordings (thanks, asshats), I opted to change gears and reinstall Mass Effect 3 for a run of good ol' wave survival rounds.
Once in game, I was rather dismayed to discover that ME3's servers either haven't aged well or just aren't what they used to be, as I kept encountering odd glitches throughout every match, like a total inability to climb ladders, floating enemies, teleporting enemies popping in and out of game, hitboxing errors all over the place, and tremendous latency at times.
And before you ask, yes, I checked my connection, and it was solid at the time of recording. The cynic in me wants to just scoff it off, and say, "Eh, it's EA's servers, what do you expect?" but I know for a fact that this game was not like this just a couple of months ago. What made it into this video represents the least bugged out footage I recorded after about two straight hours of recording."
