Just my luck that HoshiNoInaba gets terminated barely a few hours after I post this there... I've sent in an appeal because my third strike seemed to have been against the same videos in my second strike, so I'm hoping it's some sort of bug and I can get about three years of my life back.

That said, wouldn't it be nice if there were more communication between circles and uploaders? I would gladly take anything down voluntarily if approached first - my intention when uploading videos is not to circumvent copyright and promote piracy, but to lend exposure to songs that might not make it to foreign shores and ears to begin with. Listening to these songs on Youtube is what made me visit Japan four times in the past two years, and come back each time with a haul of Touhou albums. I'm sure I'm not the only one who has supported artists I would otherwise not even have heard of without encountering their work on Youtube.

But oh well. I can respect their decision - it is their content - but communication would have been lovely.
