We have confirmation that Voice Acting and Cross-Play will be coming to Nickelodeon All Star Brawl. Even though these announcements are exciting are they enough to revive the game and get it thriving again? I personally think that this won't be enough unless if they do a major update all at once that not only adds these two things but along with some more characters as well. If they decide to still have paid DLC for Nickelodeon All Star Brawl then that will definitely baffle me because I don't think these two things will be enough to get the game to be active enough for people to even want to buy DLC for this game. I think that maybe if they add a few more free characters along with Voice Acting and Crossplay then maybe some people will be on board to buying DLC characters but I really think they need to try to go all out with a free update to see if this game can get an active community again because this game fell off hard and it needs something major to bring it back. It really is a shame though because I had fun with the game and I remember watching one of the earlier tournaments for this game and it was really hype. I'd like to see this game have a comeback but honestly I don't even know if I myself will dive back into the game even if they have a huge update that has more than just Voice Acting and Crossplay added. When the game was initially announced I didn't really think that the lack of voice acting was a big deal but once I got the game I could feel that it made it feel more empty. I don't think that adding voice acting though will get a bunch of people back to playing the game though. I think that this game is a lesson in that if you launch a game with it lacking certain things then the game might not last long enough to even see these things come to the game. I think a lot of people were expecting Smash Bros level of polish and I think that also hit a lot of people when they got the game that this just doesn't have that and I don't think we should have expected it too. I wasn't expecting Smash Bros level of polish but I do think that this game coming out with online issues, no crossplay, no voice acting, and a limited roster really did hurt the game and effected the overall experience that many of us had with playing the game. The game went from hype to empty pretty quickly I feel like and it's a shame because the devs definitely care a lot about this game and it's sad to see how this game is just going out. At least it seems that it isn't going out without a fight but only time will tell if they will be able to pull off a comeback.
