This is our 3rd take. Recorded in Audacity on my AT2020 mic, filmed on my Canon Vixia camera and synched up in Adobe Premiere. That's it. No comping, tuning, or video cuts. (Though I did have to do a lot of digital video panning because I'm not used to filming two people and there was a lot of motion. :-P)

HELLO DDR's (Dedicated Description Readers)! Man, this was a fun video to film! It's nice to have somebody else on my channel besides me... :-P Isn't Zanna talented? (Odds are the majority of you reading this already know of her talent, but if you don't... well, you know where to find her! ;-)
Hey, I have an interesting Easter Egg for you! So, almost 20 years ago, when I lived in South Dakota, I got myself into a bit of a dangerous situation (No way! What a shock!) There's a place called Falls Park where we use to live in South Dakota and I use to climb up the waterfalls and hang out on the rocks. One particular instance, however, a cop saw me and thought I was stuck, so he called the fire department and.. well, I guess the rest is obvious. Anyway, it was televised, but I had NO IDEA my Dad had recorded it! He put it on YouTube yesterday, so here you go! Enjoy an annoying 8-year-old being annoying: https://youtu.be/rbcXuewoPEU
OH!! Also, I recently got coms for my PPG helmet (so I can fly with another local pilot I met last month) and my Dad and I tested it out in a pretty cool way! We coordinated a moon transit photo! Here's the shot: https://pbs.twimg.com/media/DXLXxIiU0AE7fj2.jpg:large
The initial lineup was pretty easy, I just had to approximate a 3rd point along the line between my Dads location and the moon. The fine-tuning was done by him, however. Once I got into position and began flying along the line, he would give me directions like "right five degrees" or "come off power" then I would repeat the command and course correct accordingly. It took about 10 minutes to get the shot from takeoff and at the moment the photo was taken, I was 3 miles away from the camera at 4,700ft MSL! We're probably gonna try it again with a camera mounted to his telescope for an ultra high-rez version of the same shot! Fingers crossed!
Ok, well, I should probably sleep... It's almost 7:00am... I really need to manage my schedule better. Before I go, though, is everyone excited about spring?! I KNOW I AM!! BOY do I love spring!! I also love summer! And fall! And even winter!... I guess I love all the seasons, but I love them most when they first begin, then I gradually get bored of them and start looking forward to the next one... :-P
