0After slaying the final boss you are left with a choice. Melanie was turned into a monster and is on deaths door, the dragon is dead, and this is also your only chance to turn Mar back into a human.
So do you choose to save Melanie or Save your little sister Mar. Saving one will doom the other to their fate meanwhile leaving the world without any source of medicine so even once manageable injuries or illnesses could prove fatal.
You could of course save the dragon to avert this but that would leave you without your family.
However, should you collect all numbered cards throughout the game you can unlock the true ending to save everyone. The dragon will come back to life and provide medicine, Melanie will be saved, and your little sister Mar will finally be human again. But saving everything opens the eye to awaken Malice so you're gonna have another boss fight on your hands later (we'll cover it)
