In “Time to Write”, George asks Azazel to help his friend, Mordecai Sims, a struggling writer who has always dreamed of producing a great novel but can only churn out endless mediocrity. Azazel grants him inspiration — yet the gift twists into irony: suddenly everyone around becomes a poet, except Sims himself. His dream collapses into ridicule, and the story’s moral is clear — not every passion and not every wish deserves to be fulfilled, especially when granted by a demon.
