I made my interactable Chao follower feel a little bit more "alive" by adding stuff like life-span, evolution, reincarnation and hunger. The best part is that everything save and sync with other players as I go from world to world.

If anyone is interested, I've made a public prefab for the basic Neutral, Dark and Hero chao, it doesn't come with the interactions shown in this video, but it does follow you around like a pet.
