Ever wanted to start making your own VRChat World? In this live series, ill be teaching you how to get started. This live series is intended for beginner world building, but may add some advanced elements later down the line. For this lesson, we will go over the following:
Understand the VRChat SDK
Learn Unity Basics: Movement, Object Manipulation, The Unity U.I
Learn to use "Pro Builder"
Use the Unity Asset Store (Must have an account, using a free asset pack)
Testing using VRChat (VRChat account required AND must be rank "New User"
What you will need:
A VRChat account (for testing from the SDK, to upload worlds when ready)
A Unity Store account (for assets to purchase, some are free)
VRChat SDK (downloadable with your VRChat account)
Unity Version 2022.3.22f1 (you can also use the VRC Creator Companion to download directly)
VRC Creator Companion (to make worlds and avatars AND to update packages when released. Custom community packages can also be used here, which we will discuss later down the line)
