vs Brutal AI FFA from 1v1 to 1v1v1v1v1v1v1v1 - Kane's Wrath
402I decided to play against Brutal AI and record the winning strategies. So wether you're here to learn some new techniquies to beat brutal yourself or if you just want to watch some low key gameplay I hope you enjoy this comp-stomping. I played random to try and mix up the strategies and the factions used rather than doing the same thing every game. I played some matches on both FFA style maps and team style maps. Team style maps with close spawns cause the Brutal to kill each other quickly meaning you have fewer to deal with, but it also gives them more Tiberium close by.
Brutal AI gets double income, vision of the whole map, and can see stealth without detection. In the first few minutes of the game they will also sell any structure rather than let it get captured. Cutting their income early is a good way to start out on even footing. Don't bother with manually stealthing units. Keep in mind with their first base they can macro, tech up, and upgrade as if they're on two bases so if you're not ready to keep up with the expansions you'll need another angle to beat them. Use hotkeys! It'll speed up your play by a ton and it is almost essential to beat brutal.
I intended to play on R16 maps, as it turns out a few games were accidentally on 1.03 maps instead. Factions were set to random and AI personality set to balanced, no handicap. $10,000 starting income and no crates.
There's no 7 player maps so I went from vs 5 Brutals to vs 7 Brutals rather than playing 6 Brutals on an 8 player map.
