I think Vs. is a pretty lousy fighter to be honest. I've played some pretty unbalanced and broken fighters in my time, but Vs. is certainly high on the list of most broken. It's a fast and fluid fighter published by THQ that feels incomplete and pointless...although the game has some nice music.

You choose characters from several different gangs that range from schoolgirls to pimps, who each execute exaggerrated combos (many of which look and function the same), cheap attack combinations that can practically kill in one session, and dodge hits by blocking, evading or just plain missing by attacks going through the opponent. The cast is interesting enough, but the combat is limited and the game modes lacking. While it looks like you do a lot on the surface, none of the modes are particularly interesting.

The game is also noted for incredibly cheap computer opponents at times. Well, the game doesn't even seem to have adjustable difficulty or a practice mode, so you'll come to hate this game pretty quickly. Some opponents are pushovers, but the majority like Jalil can kill you in under ten seconds if you're not careful.
