V:TM-Bloodlines P+ pt2- Time to meet the "Face" of the game
0Vampires. They suck.
And so did the original release of Vampire: The Masquerade-Bloodlines. Famously, Troika Games weren't given enough time to finish, and they weren't allowed to release patches without approval, which they never got. But the community pulled together and started their own project, fixing bugs, restoring content, and, controversially, making decisions on what was intended or adding in their own content.
I've played Bloodlines since the early 00s, but never with Wesp's patch, and the version we're playing is the Patch+, not just a patch but with content added back in. How different will this make it? Will I remember what is and is not base content? Can I remember how to get the different endings?
The game needs no introduction but I'll give it one anyway.
You are a vampire, sired just last night into the world of 90s L.A. You know nothing of the this vampire world, and (according to some) you are nothing in this vampire life you've been dragged into. Everyone can order you around, and they do. But... you've arrived at a time of change, a time when the vampires of L.A. are in disarray. A sarcophagus supposedly containing an ancient vampire is arriving at the docks. Mysteriously the ship that was carrying it is now adrift off the coast, and as the lowest of the low, you are sent to investigate it!
Could this be your chance to show your mettle to the vampire elite? Or coudl you use this as an opportunity to break free of the restricting Camarilla and instead join the Anarchs and be free of the rules governing vampire society?
