A lot of players have issues with this mission after patching the game, but I find it's really not that hard if you just go for the main targets quickly.

You do get slowed down a bit if you want the bonus objectives for building defenses (since Cranes only have Silos in their Defense tab in the latest patch), but it's still manageable. Just don't play too defensively, and don't attack their forces head-on.
