Wachenfeldt is a Blackened Death/Thrash Metal Band from Helsingland in the North of Sweden. Formed in 2011.
The primordial force in Sweden's Wachenfeldt is once again ready to be released! As veterans in the Swedish Death Metal scene (with members from acts such as Wombbath, Månegarm, Hulkoff, Defiatory, Ost + Front and more), the band quickly gained eyes / ears with their "Colophon" EP (2013) and the debut album "The Interpreter "(2017). The second album "Faustian Reawakening" continues on the progressiveness, rawness and dark elegance that characterized its predecessor, but with everything further developed and strengthened. Intricate polyphony is interspersed with traditional Nordic folk music and majestic symphonic elements - all embedded in Violent Blackened Death Metal.
