Wait... The FPS GOAT is Back?!
1,814Halo 3 just came back from the dead (Sort of...)! Halo 3 Legacy is an awesome new addition to Halo Infinite, a purely Halo 3 modes and maps playlist. No sprint and almost no abilities, the settings feel almost exactly the same as the original Halo 3 game and the gameplay is so good. This is what gives Halo the Halo feeling and I had to make a video after playing all day.
Halo 3 is the best FPS game I ever played but playing this game in 2025 with the current state of Halo and Bungie, I have mixed feelings, joy while playing, but sadness that I didn't know this was even happening. Maybe Halo is gone and never coming back but this update feels so good and I wish Halo still had this style of movement and gameplay.
Hopefully the new halo game considers the impact of rolling back the movement and abilities on gameplay, this is what pure halo feels like.
