2Kraid Boss fight
So Kraid is back from the dead, and with a vengeance. He wants to have you for lunch. Of course, we can't allow that, can we? Here's how to send him back to Hell.
Phase 1
Upon entering the room, the door will lock and Kraid will pop up from beneath the spike trap. He'll open his mouth and spit objects at you. that's his weak spot. He'll try to spear you with his claw, so jump out of the way. Shoot a charged shot, a Missile or a Super Missile when he opens his mouth and roars at you. You can also shoot him in his face to get him to open his mouth. Shoot his open mouth a few times and he'll pop up farther. One shot with a Super Missile will also coax him all the way up.
Phase 2
Now that the colossal dinosaur has completely emerged from beneath your feet, jump onto one of the platforms and shoot him when he opens his mouth to roar. He'll also spit objects at you and throw his fingernails at you. Watch out for the projectiles that shoot out of his 3 belly buttons. Shoot anything he spits out or any fingernail he throws at you, and you may get some energy recovery items or ammunition. If you manage to shoot him a few times Kraid will keel over and die once again. After he's dead, run to the next room and claim your reward, the Varia Suit. the door into Kraid's room will also unlock afterwards.
