Walking to Steall Waterfall in first person view there and back again Scotland
Come with me on this first person view walk to Steall Waterfall showing exactly how the path looks like via the rope bridge.
Filmed on a DJI Pocket 2 and Samsung Galaxy Ultra S23.
If you ever wondered how this walk looks like now you know exactly what to expect although some parts will be quite hazardous in wet weather or snow.
The walk from the car park is only about 1.2 miles and takes about 20 to 30 minutes depending on your pace and weather conditions.
Steall Waterfall, also known as An Steall or Steall Falls, is a stunning waterfall located in Glen Nevis, near Fort William in the Scottish Highlands. It is one of the highest waterfalls in Scotland, with a single drop of around 120 meters (393 feet).
Steall Waterfall is part of the Steall Gorge, and it is fed by the waters of the Allt Coire a' Mhail river. The waterfall is surrounded by impressive and dramatic mountain scenery, including the prominent peak of Ben Nevis, the highest mountain in the British Isles.
One of the notable features of Steall Waterfall is that it is accessible by a relatively short and scenic hike. The trail takes visitors through beautiful landscapes, including forests and meadows, and leads to a wire suspension bridge that provides stunning views of the waterfall.
The area around Steall Waterfall is popular among hikers and nature enthusiasts. The waterfall itself, along with the picturesque surroundings, makes it a notable natural attraction in the Scottish Highlands. Keep in mind that weather conditions can vary, and it's a good idea to check local information and trail conditions before planning a visit.
