Welcome to my video walkthrough series of Croc 2, provided with commentary and videos rendered in 1080p HD quality. The aim of the series is to show you how to complete this game 100% in an efficient way, while I take my trip to memory lane as I play along.
In this eighth part, we finish off the last remaining levels of the Land of the Cave Gobbos. We unlocked the kart stage by painfully collecting those damn wheels, and we have to follow a mammoth (which I recall as something else) and encounter enemies that will never die! And if that isn't enough, we have to save a bunch of Gobbos from a forest fire! All hell's breaking loose and there are more crystals waiting to be picked up! Croc's getting into some serious shit. Croc 2, called Croc Adventure (クロックアドベンチャー) in Japan (working title Croc 2: Kingdoms of the Gobbos), is a video game released in 1999 (PC Version in 2000!). It is the sequel to Croc: Legend of the Gobbos, developed by Argonaut Software between 1998 and 1999, and published by Fox Interactive. Croc 2 was released on Game Boy Color, Windows, and PlayStation. Sega Saturn, Nintendo 64 and Dreamcast releases were planned but eventually canceled for unknown reasons. The plot revolves around Croc searching for his missing parents, and saving the Inventor Gobbo from Baron Dante. (Wikipedia.org, slightly edited)
