This one isn't nearly as bad as NTS, but it has a few... problems that do stand out as especially 'you dodged a really good idea successfully'.
Which NTS did a lot, and NTS also never touched on any good ideas ever really, and it's not quite as maddening.
Prose is a bit stale, though, and eventually it commits a big dialogue screw that still irks me.

But, I'm considering it a win.
