WaPo Posts Facebook Post About Vaporware Study, Yet WaPo Stans Pretends It Did - JD Soapbox
Washington Post makes a Facebook post claiming that a study concluded something, but a click on the provided link which the preview states will lead to a page that brings up the story leads to a completely different story that never once brings up said study. Yet, neither Facebook, nor those that commented on the story, ever clicked the given link to check to see if it even existed - let alone had any form of validity - before claiming it true and opining on it as if it was.
Yet it will be anyone who dares to call out this as vaporware that is branded. And people wonder why there's such frustration about this piling up of guidelines against so-called "misinformation", and those that seem too ready to believe anything the mainstream is telling them is true about the world...or about us.
