Gaijin, War Thunder's developer, is creating a major problem in their game. First, they've made a battle rating system that causes matchmaking to be extremely polar: either you're at a large advantage or you're at a major disadvantage. This used to not be so bad when there were more players per BR, since it seems that more players in a BR = more players of the same/similar BR playing together. Due to Gaijin constantly adding new tanks and modes into the game they're actually diluting their stagnant playerbase to the point that undertiering/overtiering is becoming a problem. This can lead to the Battlefield cascade where people just start falling out of love with the game.
